Nothing sets the scene quite like a perfectly symmetrical circle with symbols from a dead language coming to life right beneath your feet. I mean think about it: summoned a demon? Preparing a blood moon sacrifice? Finally unlocked the secrets to unlimited power? So I figured, sure why not?īecause there are so many occult occasions where an ominously glowing magic sigil can set the mood, you know? This one’s a pretty simple décor item, but I thought the concept was pretty cool. You can find the overlays – i.e., the Aloha! Add-On Eyes and Overlays – right here. If you’re building an occult Sim, I highly recommend this eyeset. But I will say that this CAS pack (plus its corresponding add-on pack by the same creator) helped me achieve glowing purple wraith eyes, heterochromatic milky-white werewolf eyes, and bone-chillingly-black Spider-Woman eyes. There’s quite a bit to unpack, so I can’t list them all down here. Or, at the very least, aesthetically pleasing.īasically, the Aloha! eyeset lets you play around with sclera and iris colors. They have a way of warping features and injecting terror-creature elements into their CC in a way that’s almost… cute. I’m sure there are plenty of other eyesets that are even more extensive (ones by PralineSims come to mind), but Pyxis is pretty well-known for their monster/beast/fantasy/occult-Sims CC. This eyeset by Pyxis is one of the best and most extensive ones I’ve found for creating otherworldly eyes. So these aren’t specifically supernatural or occult-themed per se, but I thought I would include this as it helped me build some cool-looking, not-of-this-earth beasties.

Without the eyes, the skin details make it look like there are genuinely multiple tiny eye sockets on your Sim’s forehead. On the other hand, these Arachnophobia – Accessory Spider Eyes by Pyxis worked almost too well.Īside from the actual spider eyes that sit on your Sim’s forehead, the creator included skin details like pale veins, warped discoloration, and shadows to indicate bulging and indents. Could be just a difference in textures (the good ol’ Maxis Match versus Alpha CC debate) or something, but they really didn’t translate well in CAS or in-game. Other custom monster eye accessories looked either too flat or too bug-eyed. I found a couple other “third eye” or “insect eyes” CC while I was digging for cool occult/supernatural stuff, but this piece stood out. Want to make your Arachne!Sim more Spider then Woman? These creepy (but excellent) spider-eyes accessory are by a different creator (Pyxis!), but damn do they complete the look.

It’s meant to be an apothecary cabinet, but you can honestly just use it as any regular multi-slotted organizational/display cabinet.īut given the theme of this article, it would look really cool with glass bottles, unidentified herbs, suspicious-looking mushrooms, and softly-glowing rocks.

Not even the unnecessarily huge bookcases have half of those free slots, even though it would make perfect sense for them to. Name a base game cabinet, display case, or shelving unit that comes close. Let me tell you now: it’s got 80 working décor slots.
